Learn how to maximize mission efficiency with massacre stacking in Bagalis.
If you have two ship missions from the same faction to "kill X Bagalis Rats", a single kill will only count for one mission. But if you have the same two missions from two separate factions, one kill will count for both. This lets you construct a stack of missions where the sums per faction are roughly equal, meaning you only need to kill that many ships to complete all the missions. And if the missions are wing missions (indicated by the blue), the entire wing can share the missions before turning them in. For example, if the whole wing builds stacks of 90 kills, goes to Bagalis, and kills 90 pirates, your overall payouts will be multiplied by the number of people in the wing.
Another key point: a faction will issue massacre missions against any anarchy within a 10Ly range. For a system to be ideal for massacre stacking, the surrounding systems within 10Ly must feature only this one anarchy faction. It so happens that Bagalis is such a system (bonus: the source systems have an L-pad near the star).
Also, a faction in conflict will not issue these missions. Even if you choose REP or MAT rewards, each mission carries an INF reward too. To avoid clashes, it’s best to take missions from every faction in the system so they don’t interfere with each other.
Finally, the pay per kill and mission requirements change with reputation. When you’re new, prioritize missions with reputation rewards. Later on, opt for those with MAT rewards—they still pay well and yield Grade 5 manufactured materials.

These numbers are guidelines from experience and depend on how the mission requirements line up.
Review the missions offered by each faction first; sometimes it’s tricky to combine them to reach your chosen stack height. Avoid assassination missions, as these target a single, often more challenging enemy. Also, keep an eye out for the wing icon which indicates wing missions.
Use external tools to track your stack. Options include:
Do not share the missions yet! If a faction RNGs against you and doesn’t offer suitable missions, try another port in the system or wait about 30 minutes for the mission table to refresh.
Visit the other system from the first point and build a stack there as well.
Head to Bagalis and start targeting the assigned ships.
Return to Juan and LTT. Share your missions one by one, wait for everyone to accept, then turn them in. Multiple players can share and turn in missions simultaneously—just make sure you accept missions shared by others.
This process will grant everyone BVs from Utlagarnir. Be mindful of where you turn these in so as not to trigger uncontrolled expansion. If the 🗂⌇bgs⭒priorities channel doesn’t specify which system to push, choose a system where Utlagarnir is not present.
These can "dry out" after prolonged firefights, causing mission targets to stop dropping. Non-mission ships might also spawn, but these locations generally offer a mellow experience for beginners.
In mission signals the targets often don't pay attention to you hunting them. Fish in a barrel. But sometimes when you drop in a mission signal, you will see a single anaconda. Once it scans you a lot of mission targets will jump in and start shooting. In such case I propose to boost as soon as you see the anaconda, until the bigger ships are further away and start thinning the herd from the smallest ships up. You can clean out a signal that way on your own
Even solo massacre stacking is an excellent way to earn CR, BVs for BGS, and mats at the same time.
